ABOUT CLAUDIA

Claudia Carballal is a meditation and yoga teacher certified by Yoga Alliance with formal training in India and the US, a clinical mental health counselor, board licensed professional counselor associate. She was initiated to spiritual practices and meditation by her spiritual teacher in India belonging to the Vedanta tradition. 

Her passion for Jnana Yoga (the Yoga of Knowledge) take her to India every year to continue learning under her spiritual teacher and collaborating in workshops with local teachers and doctors. Claudia was inspired to publish Yoga Psychology for Mental Health: A Guide to The Wisdom of Eastern Philosophy and Yoga Psychology for Mental Health and Healing. The book is a compilation of the main sources of yoga, the types of yoga, and how to apply Eastern wisdom teachings for our physical, mental, and spiritual growth and well-being. 

 

Claudia has three decades of experience helping people solve problems, first as an international law attorney, later on as a life coach and counselor.

WHY LEARN ABOUT 
MEDITATION

Meditation itself needs no techniques. Techniques are needed to remove the obstacles that we have accumulated in our mind and that get in the way of meditation. But if you stop at the techniques alone, you miss the point. 

Meditation is not an exercise for mind relaxation— it is a way of live. Meditation connects us with Cosmic Intelligence, also called Universal Consciousness, opening up endless opportunities. Meditation unleashes the dormant energies within, liberates the mind from unproductive behavioral patterns, allowing us to live a more wholesome and truthful life.
